What does the error message of my AURA Strap 1 mean?

Error Message Issue Troubleshooting Steps
No connection  AURA App didn't receive data from the Strap.

First, try restarting the app on your iphone and iwatch. 

This error occurs most commonly when the battery charge is too low, and you need to replace it. See How to replace the battery. If the problem occurs again, try to uninstall and set up your device and AURA App back. See How to setup AURA Strap 1. Then, try to take one more measurement. See How to take a measurement. 
Incorrect data AURA App received data from the Strap but the results invalid

This error occurs most commonly when not all the conditions for correct measurement are met. See How to take a measurement.

It is crucial to: 

  • Touch the electrodes with the specific zone of your palm; 
  • Stand up and keep your hands opposite the chest;
  • Keep your hands clean;
  • Don't cover the speaker and find a quiet place.

An almost dead battery may give incorrect Strap readings. If the measurements take correctly but still receive the error "incorrect data", it may be worth changing the battery (CR2025).
