I am on my second Aura 2 strap. My first one (purchased Dec 15 2023) was replaced because it was not reading and I kept getting an error message.
I just got my new watch on 4 days ago (Jan 2nd). First 2 days worked fine, past 2 days I keep getting a bad data arror. I am following the instuctions exactly as in the tutorials and videos. And I am at full battery.
I really like the idea of this product but if it doesn't work, I would like a refund.

This is truly sad. I started my journey with Aura in 2021 after a big health diagnosis. I purchased the first band to help me track weight, body mass, body fat, visceral fat, protein, and water levels, all things that are essential data points to my health issues. The first band worked great, for about a month and a half. I never had an issue taking a reading. I was even wearing the bad full time, during workouts and all. Then it started glitching. I contacted support and finally got an answer. They asked if it had been exposed to any liquids, um other than sweat? No. I sent data from the watch and explained everything carefully, did all the steps of uninstall, reinstall, reset, and try again. None changed. They decided to send me a new watch. Once that one was received I got two readings out of it and that was IT. I was beyond frustrated. I tried for months and every reading was like before, bad data or incorrect data. The band was brand new!!! I shelved it for six months, saw there was a big update and tried it again. The first reading worked, I was super excited and hopeful. The next day, I eagerly grabbed my watch to put the band on to take a reading and incorrect data on the first try. Next reading was bad reading and it just kept cycling. To note, I only used this band when I wanted to take a measurement, I did not wear it all the time. I contacted support, sent all the data again, explained it was my second band with the same issue, did the uninstall/reinstall dance againg and nothing. They decided to send me a THIRD band. I accepted but figured it woudlnt work either. Removed the software from my phone and disassociated my watch and waited. Once I got the new band, I installed the apps and synced my watch. I have gotten maybe three readings since I received it almost two weeks ago. It still says bad or incorrect data. I can stand here for 30 minutes trying to get a reading and it doesnt work. I thought it was just me, so I googled the aura strap2 and the error messages and guess what? I found all of you lovely people on here with the same issue. How is this such a widespread problem and there is no fix for it? I realize that precision is next to impossible in this kind of personal device, but I'm not asking for precision - I asking for it to work. I dont need precise data, I need data trends. Those are what lets me know if my system(body) is okay or not. It helps me adjust my day to day to meet those needs and this strap doesnt help. I am left to using my body scale, which mind you always gives me a good reading.
Is there no fix for this sensor reading issue? If this many people are having issues with the product, maybe it's time for an Aura Strap 3. I wont ask for my money back, especially since I have gotten two replacements out of it but a review for this watch band and my detailed experiences will be going up on my blog and to all of my social media. I do not want to see others excitedly rush to buy this band when so many people cant even use it the way it was intended, not where there are other alternatives for the same or less cost. And look, the most recent posting of someone having this issues is five days before my post. R&D needs to figure this out.
